Pamela Amato

Pamela Amato is an associate at Mallory, Lapka, Scott & Selin, PLLC. She received her Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude with a concentration in Taxation Law from Michigan State University College of Law and her Bachelors Degree in Chemistry/Biology and Mathematics from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Amato also has a Masters Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Project Management.

Ms. Amato is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Ingham County Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board for the Ingham County Bar Association as President. Ms. Amato received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for Small Business Enterprises and was a finalist for the George P. Doreghty Leadership Award. Ms. Amato was appointed as an Emergency Financial Manager by Governor Granholm in 2008. Ms. Amato has also guest lectured at Michigan State University College of Law on ethics and balancing a law career.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Amato was a solo practitioner with her primary focus being domestic relations law and estate planning. At Mallory, Lapka, Scott & Selin, PLLC, Ms. Amato has expanded her focus to also include landlord/tenant and property law.
