The law firm of Elizabeth K. Abdnour, Esq., PLLC fights for fair and equitable treatment in K-12 and higher education.

At the college and university level, founder and principal Liz Abdnour specializes in helping victims of sexual harassment and workplace discrimination, using her unique position as a former Title IX investigator—at Michigan State University during the Larry Nassar investigation—to guide clients through academic bureaucracy. In K-12 public school settings, Liz fights for special education students to receive the services they are due under federal law. The firm also conducts trainings, investigations, and audits of educational institutions and workplaces in these areas.

The firm accepts a limited number of cases in other areas of law when justice is on the line, including representing victims of workplace discrimination or harassment outside of educational institutions, family law matters, personal protection orders, and representing tenants who are experiencing residential housing issues.

Based in Lansing’s REO Town district with a license to practice in Michigan and Ohio, Liz is passionate about using her unique experience and empathic approach to deliver an empowering attorney-client relationship to those she represents.

Liz earned her J.D. at New York University School of Law and her B.A. at Michigan State University (James Madison College and the Honors College).
