Biographical Info

Elizabeth Abdnour Law, PLLC is a public interest law firm fighting for fair and equitable treatment at school and in the workplace.

At the college and university level, we specialize in helping victims of sexual harassment and other civil rights violations. Firm founder and principal Liz Abdnour uses her unique position as a former Title IX investigator—at Michigan State University during the Larry Nassar investigation—to guide clients through academic bureaucracy. In K-12 school settings, we work to ensure special education students receive the services they are due under federal law.

In workplaces, we fight for employees, faculty, and teachers facing unfair treatment in the workplace, including discrimination and retaliation. We also accept a limited number of cases in involving disability discrimination in public accommodations. We conduct training and audits for educational institutions and workplaces, and we are available to serve as a Title IX investigator, party advisor, or hearing officer for colleges and universities.

Based in Lansing’s Westside neighborhood, we are passionate about using our unique experience and empathic approach to deliver an empowering attorney-client relationship to those we represent.
