Description
The Ingham County Bar Association’s Paralegal Section consists of paralegals, legal assistants, and legal secretaries who provide support to attorneys in many diverse areas of the law. The purpose of this Section is to share knowledge and experience, as well as to empower those who have chosen a career in the legal field. The Section meets to listen to professionals and experts present on different aspects of the law, and to learn new skills which can be applied back at their office or in the courtroom. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday every month, September through June, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the State Bar of Michigan Building in downtown Lansing. These monthly sessions also offer great opportunities to network and meet others in your field. Please note: Meetings are not restricted to support staff. Anyone interested in attending any of our speaker sessions is welcome to join!
