Description
The probate and estate planning section is a group of attorneys in the Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton County area who focus their practice on matters relating to death and incapacity. Much of their work involves developing an individualized plan for clients to prepare for the possibility of temporary or permanent incapacity, and for their eventual death. Many of the members also practice in contested matters in the probate court as well.
The section meets monthly from September through June. Each meeting provides an opportunity for members to socialize and network with other members while enjoying lunch and listening to an on-point presentation given by various local professionals, including other Attorneys, CPA’s, Judges, Probate Registers, Investment Advisors, Professional Trustees, and even Marketing Advisors. Members are given an opportunity to sponsor and co-sponsor the lunches for additional marketing opportunities. The December and June meetings are typically off-site social gatherings held without speakers.
